We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Material Handler/Delivery Driver to join our team in Parksville, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of materials within our warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory control, and supporting our logistics operations.
· Drive the Emco truck in a safe manner and in compliance with company policy, applicable traffic laws and provincial Ministry of Transportation legislation. Destinations include job sites, customer facilities, vendor facilities, other Emco locations, other wholesaler facilities and any other location as directed by management
At the end of the workday, ensure that the driver’s log is completed
Complete pre-trip inspections and inform management of any mechanical problems with the truck
Secure loads properly following all legislation, ensuring nothing will shift, get damaged or fall from the truck
Pick customer orders and load the truck at the Profit Centre with material to be delivered curb side to customers or vendors while ensuring the necessary equipment to safely load the truck is available
Preferred Qualifications:
Salary Range: $45000-50000 base plus benefits and year end profit sharing.
