Specialty Manufacturing is seeking a Material Handler in Saskatchewan, Canada to move and track raw materials, WIP, and finished goods across the facility. The role supports production by ensuring timely material delivery to machining centers and shipping, while maintaining accurate inventory and safety compliance.

Two shifts are offered: 6:00AM-2:30PM and 2:00PM-10:30PM, with the second shift offering a differential.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Manufacturing, machine shop, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely.
• Basic math and counting with attention to detail.
• Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and inventory records.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Aufgaben

• Transport raw materials, parts, and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, or other equipment.
• Supply machine operators with materials, tools, and components to maintain production schedules.
• Load and unload deliveries and verify quantities against documents.
• Stage materials for production jobs according to work orders and schedules.
• Move completed parts to inspection or shipping departments.
• Maintain inventory records via barcode scanning, ERP systems, or inventory tracking procedures.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Organize stock locations, racks, bins, and storage areas.
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment.
• Follow all safety procedures related to material handling and forklift operation.
• Assist in maintaining 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
• Report damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, and safety concerns to supervisors.
• Support other shop and warehouse functions as assigned.
