Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift.

Position Overview:

The material handler will be responsible for processing inbound, outbound, and internal materials for Eaton’s Satellite, Customer, and site orders. This involves receiving and inspecting all incoming materials, maintaining Eaton’s WIP database, packing, weighing, and loading trucks for outbound materials. The role also includes maintaining inventory accuracy within the warehouse.

In This Function You Will:
  • Unload and receive materials accurately using the Oracle system.
  • Pick and count materials of various weights and sizes accurately using a handheld scanner.
  • Package and load materials to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support and assist team members with warehouse tasks.
  • Operate lift equipment safely, including counterbalance, reach truck, and order picker.
  • Perform cycle counts and audits as required.
  • Collaborate with management and coworkers to promote safety and continuous improvement.
  • Resolve routine warehouse issues.
  • Handle skids of various dimensions and weights through picking, packing, moving, and loading.
Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • At least 1 year of experience operating counterbalance or reach trucks with a valid, up-to-date certification.
  • Reside within 80 km of Milton; relocation is not provided.
  • Authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with order pickers or working at elevated heights with valid certification.
  • Familiarity with inventory software.
Skills and Position Criteria:
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within teams and across all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook and RF scanners.
  • Effective time management skills.
