Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Material Handler 2 in Calgary to ensure accurate and timely material delivery to production lines, while supporting day-to-day receiving activities. The role collaborates with shop floor staff and receiving personnel to keep production flowing smoothly.

Key duties include receiving packing slips, fulfilling Kanban orders, counting cycles, and delivering materials to various factory areas.

Qualifications

• Valid Fork Lift license and previous experience required (1 year).
• Strong communication, customer service, basic mathematical, and organizational skills.
• Recognize unsafe conditions or hazards within the work area.
• Team player with a desire to get the job done correctly and on time.
• Flexible and willing to learn new functions within the receiving department.
• Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to accept a high degree of responsibility and work well under pressure.
• Computer skills are required.
• Ability to withstand very warm and very cold temperatures.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a frequent basis and do basic foot to metric calculations.
• Previous Crane experience is an asset.
