Job description

Material Handler (Up to $19.50/hr.) plus $1.00/hr., shift differential for off-shift

Who we are looking for:

We are currently seeking a Material Handler based in Milford, UT. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Material Handler's responsibilities include stacking finished pipe, checking quality, and, after training, using a forklift to weigh and transport finished products.

What you'll do:

  1. Assist with Quality Control duties.
  2. Package finished pipe in proper crate quantities.
  3. Weigh and transport finished product.
  4. Process regrind.
  5. Perform all other assigned duties.

What you'll bring:

  1. Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization skills.
  2. Adaptability to changes in the work environment, comfort with multiple demands, and ability to handle frequent changes.
  3. Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Ability to lift 70 pounds unassisted.

Within 3 months, you'll:

  1. Complete any required training.
  2. Develop relationships with key stakeholders.
  3. Become proficient in Atkore's Business System and understand your role's importance to daily operations.
