Informations

The Material Handler reports to the Logistics and Warehouse Foreperson. The incumbent is responsible for supporting the store and warehouse team.

RESPONSABILITIES

• Create (custom) wooden packaging for pump shipment;
• Ensure possession of raw materials for package manufacturing;
• Perform daily duties in the warehouse;
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse;
• Create and identify storage spaces for merchandise;
• Conduct inventory on orders received;
• Use in-house software to track pumps;
• Cycle count the pumps;
• Maintain plant and yard cleanliness and inspect own work equipment;
• Assist with pump shipment;
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma and experience working in a similar position would be an asset.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Forklift operator training (an asset);
• Training in slinging and using overhead cranes (an asset).
