Job summary

Agilus by Synergie is actively recruiting several Material Handlers in Mississauga, Ontario.

Earn $18.07 hourly with weekly pay including 4% vacation pay. Shifts are Monday to Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm, in a distribution environment where you will sort, stage, load/unload cartons and manage related paperwork with accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance is essential.
• Able to stand, walk, balance; occasional lifting up to 46 lbs.
• Three months distribution center experience or equivalent.
• Adaptable to change by working in different departments.
• Basic math skills for accuracy in calculations.
• Able to fill out paperwork neatly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Sort, warehouse, stage, and load/unload cartons safely and efficiently.
• Unload inbound freight and load outbound freight.
• Complete all paperwork for warehousing or replenishment activities neatly.
• Separate and load freight on unpacking lines.
• Stage outbound freight in shipping.
• Receive and warehouse merchandise into racks and floor locations.
• Replenish and condense merchandise for efficient order pulling.

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for several Material Handlers in the Distribution Industry in Mississauga, Ontario.

Total rewards:$18.07 hourlyWeekly pay including 4% vacation pay.

Monday to Thursday 6am - 430pm

A typical day

• Sort, warehouse, stage, and load/unload cartons in an accurate, safe, and efficient manner.
• Unload inbound freight/load outbound freight
• Complete all paperwork for any warehousing or replenishment activity in an accurate and neat manner
• Separate and load freight on unpacking lines
• Stage outbound freight in shipping
• Receive and warehouse incoming merchandise into module racks and floor locations
• Pull merchandise from racks or move merchandise to open areas for pulling and distribution in replenishment department
• Replenish and condense merchandise into most effective locations for order pulling in replenishment department
• Operate manual and/or mechanical equipment in a safe and effective manner and maintain proper certifications

Requirements

• Reliable attendance is an essential requirement of the job
• Ability to continuously stand, walk and balance. Frequently Handling, gripping, overhead reaching and neck movement. Occasionally carrying, lifting and lowering up to 46lbs. Occasionally pushing and pulling up to 20lbs
• Three months previous Distribution Center experience or equivalent experience
• Must be adaptable to change by working within different departments
• Ability to perform basic math skills accurately including addition, subtraction, and multiplication
• Must be able to fill out paperwork and forms neatly and accurately
