Job summary

ATCO Structures in Kamloops seeks a Material Handler to support material handling within our manufacturing facility that designs and builds modular buildings. You will organize areas, operate a forklift, process receiving paperwork, and move materials to workstations and storage locations.

The role requires forklift experience, familiarity with ERP systems, and proficiency in MS Excel; you will work in a fast-paced environment with a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience in manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Knowledge of material receiving processes and cycle counts.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment and deliver on time.
• Comfortable using ERP systems and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Organize assigned areas and materials.
• Operate forklift and unload incoming shipments.
• Process receiving paperwork such as packing slips and bills of lading.
• Deliver materials to workstations and storage locations.
• Complete inventory transactions and relocations.
• Assist with garbage and recycling removal processes.
• Support the Production team with line moves as required.

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for assisting with Material Handling activities within our Kamloops Manufacturing facility, where we design and build modular buildings.

Job Responsibilities

• Accountable for the organization of assigned areas and materials.
• Operate Forklift and unload incoming shipments from transport trailers.
• Process receiving paperwork such as packing slips and bill of lading.
• Deliver materials to workstations and storage locations.
• Complete inventory consumptionon all inventory transactions relocations.
• Assist with garbage and recycling removal processes.
• Support the Production team with line moves as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior forkliftexperience in manufacturing or warehouse experience set up preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with material receiving processes and cycle countsan asset.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment and deliver results on time
• Comfortable using ERP and any other relevant software
• Comfortable using MS excel
