Safran Landing Systems Canada is seeking a Material Handler to ensure safe and efficient movement, storage, and delivery of materials across the facility, supporting on-time production while complying with aerospace quality standards.

You will follow documentation, operate forklifts with a valid license, and participate in health and safety initiatives. Shift work (day and afternoon) is required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of work experience, preferably operating lift trucks and forklifts.
• Qualified forklift/reach truck license is required.
• WHMIS certification is an asset.
• Active involvement in Health, Safety and Environment initiatives.
• Strong organizational skills; able to work with minimal supervision.

• The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and delivery of raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility, ensuring to follow documentation procedures.
• This role ensures production lines are supplied with the correct materials in a timely manner and adheres to strict aerospace quality and safety standards, following documentation processes.
• Previous experience with coolant control would be an asset.
• Responsible for general cleanliness of machine shop.
• Availability for shift work (day and afternoon).
• Actively be involved in any Health, Safety and Environment initiatives.

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and delivery of raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility, ensuring to follow documentation procedures. This role ensures production lines are supplied with the correct materials in a timely manner and adheres to strict aerospace quality and safety standards, following documentation processes.

Previous experience with Coolant Control would be an asset.

Responsible for general cleanliness of machine shop.

Availability for shift work (day and afternoon).

WHMIS certification is an asset.

Actively be involved in any Health, Safety and Environment initiatives. Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE in a manufacturing environment.

Skills and Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills are required. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Education and/or Certifications: High school diploma or equivalency.

Work Experience: 3 to 5 of work-related experience, preferably operating lift trucks, and forklift.

Specialized Knowledge: Qualified License to safely operate Forklifts/Reach Trucks is required.

Physical Effort: Lifting to 50 pounds and carrying of boxes.

Mental and Sensory Demands: Changing priorities, conflict resolution, attention to detail and accuracy.

Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively with all departments consistent with the company's values.

Rate: Starting at $30.19 per hour as per Collective Agreement
