Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a Material Handler to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, and inventory control. The role requires operating a ¾-ton truck and forklifts, and ensuring accurate paperwork and records.

Based at Enerflex's Calgary branch, you will contribute to a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment, handling domestic and international shipments and assisting with cycle counts and stock organization.

Qualifications

  • Alberta Class 5 Driver's License with a satisfactory driver abstract.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, well organized, able to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborate with branch departments.
  • Heavy lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Able to work flexible hours and potential overtime.
  • Safety tickets such as First Aid and H2S are assets.
  • Pre-employment medical and D&A test required.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a ¾-ton truck and 18' trailer to transport parts, equipment, and materials to field locations and customers.
  • Perform shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, and material handling activities.

  • Verify, receive, store, pick, pack, and prepare materials for domestic and international shipments.
  • Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock organization.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Comply with all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies and procedures.
  • Perform general labor and other duties as assigned.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, the Material Handler is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving and unloading shipments, inventory storage and control, material handling, and the distribution of goods and materials within the branch. The role also ensures accurate completion of routine paperwork and warehouse documentation as required.

This position is based in Calgary, Alberta.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Safely operate a ¾-ton truck and 18' trailer to transport parts, equipment, and materials to field locations and customers.
  • Perform shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, and material handling activities.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (forklift certification is an asset).

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment medical and D&A test is required for this position.
