A leading transport network company in Mississauga is seeking a Material Expeditor to manage suppliers and ensure timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate should have an associate degree in Supply Chain and 3-5 years of relevant experience. This position offers a hybrid work model and is integral to the supply chain process. You will contribute to diverse international projects while adhering to health and safety policies.

Your future role
Reporting to Material Planning Management, the Material Expeditor is responsible for managing internal and/or external suppliers’ portfolio to ensure goods delivery at right time, quantity and place based on Alstom needs. This role requires the ability to work in an international, multi-site and matrix organization.
The position is based in Mississauga, ON in a hybrid work environment (3 days in office/2days remote) - However flexibility and mobility are required to travel occasionally (Canada and US) to various Alstom sites or to Suppliers facilities as part of the material delivery follow-up.
While interacting daily with co-workers, external suppliers and management, all activities will be performed in accordance with strict Health & Safety procedures as prescribed by legislation and the ALSTOM Health & Safety policies.

Associates degree in Supply Chain / Engineering/Industrial/Business administration, or other related field
3-5 years relevant experience in Material Planning/Expediting
Excellent problem-solving skills with equally strong computer skills
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
Nice to have: Materials requirements planning, Supplier Delivery Performance Management, Inventory Management & Material Planning techniques, Transport & Distribution
