A leading healthcare organization in Belleville seeks a skilled professional for Operations Supply or Materials Management. The role involves analyzing inventory, maintaining material flow, and ensuring safety standards. Ideal candidates will have solid experience and educational background, thriving in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Post-secondary education / certification in Operations Supply or Materials Management (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 2 years recent experience in warehouse / production / material management (healthcare preferred).
Experience with SAP enterprise resource planning software (preferred).
Strong analytical organizational and prioritization skills; able to multitask under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
Proficiency with Windows PC software (Word and Excel).
Good math skills for accurate inventory counting.
For internal candidates disciplinary and attendance records will be considered.
Duties
Analyze inventory data and generate reports to support material replenishment.
Maintain material flow records using ERP systems and ensure stock availability.
Recommend storage modifications and space utilization strategies.
Coordinate recalls product alerts and removal of expired / damaged goods.
Expedite back orders and arrange substitute products when needed.
Investigate inventory issues and implement corrective actions.
Communicate with departments and vendors about material status.
Ensure workplace safety and report hazards per policy.
