REAL-R is seeking an experienced Master Electrician to lead critical fire alarm and life safety projects across Alberta. You will supervise electricians and apprentices, ensure code compliance, and drive high-quality installations and commissioning.

You will mentor teams, review drawings, coordinate with engineers and inspectors, and uphold safety standards while delivering complex commercial and industrial systems.

Qualificações

• Journeyperson Electrician (Red Seal or equivalent).
• 10+ years of electrical experience after certification.
• Experience with fire alarm or life safety systems.
• Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code, Alberta Building Code, and Fire Code.
• Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Experience leading crews, coordinating projects, or mentoring apprentices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Acting as the designated Master Electrician for permits and code compliance.
• Leading the installation, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Supervising and mentoring electricians and apprentices.
• Performing inspections, testing, verification, and commissioning.
• Reviewing drawings and specifications for code compliance.
• Working closely with customers, engineers, inspectors, and project managers.
• Completing permits, service reports, inspection documentation, and project records.
• Supporting programming, commissioning, and ongoing system maintenance.
• Promoting a strong safety culture on every project.
