AltaPro Electric in Edmonton is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager to oversee multiple projects from start-up through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability. You will manage budgets and schedules, review contracts and drawings, coordinate procurement, and work with foremen, clients, and contractors to deliver value.

Qualificações

• Alberta Journeyman Electrician certification and Red Seal preferred.
• 3 to 5+ years of commercial electrical construction experience as a Journeyman preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial electrical project manager.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office 365, Touchplan and Excel.
• Experience with project management and estimating programs and software.
• Accurate knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code, building codes and applicable construction standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Strong financial acumen for forecasting, determining Value Earned and project sequencing.

Responsabilidades

• Manage commercial electrical projects from start-up through closeout, meeting safety, quality, financial, and operational expectations.
• Review and interpret contracts, specifications, construction drawings, and engineered plans.
• Develop and maintain schedules, milestones, labour forecasts and material procurement.
• Monitor budgets, labour hours, material costs, change orders, progress claims and profitability.
• Track progress, labour performance, schedules, and project needs with Foremen.
• Coordinate purchasing, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and project resources.
• Maintain organized project records, correspondence, RFIs, and reports.
• Manage communications and relationships with contractors, clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams; participate in project meetings.
• Identify and resolve project risks, delays, cost impacts, scope changes, and technical or operational challenges.
• Support and mentor Project Coordinators, Foremen, and developing Project Managers.
