Massage Therapy Clinic Supervisor

Hours

Part-time, 2 or more days per week. Shifts will fall between Monday–Thursday, 12:30 p.m.–8:00 p.m. Exact schedule may vary, flexibility is required to meet scheduling needs.

The Opportunity

The Massage Therapy Clinic Supervisor provides instruction, guidance and mentoring to students as they move from the textbook to the hands‑on practical clinic setting.

What you’ll be doing
  • Advise students on treatment safety pre-treatment to ensure safe treatment of all clients.
  • Clinical rounds – checking in on every student when possible, asking questions pertaining to client’s assessment, treatment plan & long‑term care.
  • Provide consultation to students while they are performing massages as required and/or upon request.
  • Maintain communication with other clinic supervisors about each shift. Provide updates, student information, supplies needed, unexcused absences, client relations, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the position
  • Registered Massage Therapist in Good Standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
  • Massage Therapy Diploma.
  • Minimum of 2 years practical experience.
  • Previous teaching experience would be considered an asset.
  • Excellent English communication and organizational skills.
