Job description

Overview

The Inventory & Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing masonry inventory to ensure efficient inventory control, accurate tracking, and optimal stock levels to support business operations.

Things You’ll Do

  • Manage the lifecycle tracking of all purchase orders, sales/call off orders, and production overruns.
  • Area subject matter expert of Inventory Management System (BisTrack).
  • Implement and manage special projects; Including but not limited to, implementing production in BisTrack and the use of QR/bar codes in inventory tracking.
  • Create and manage product SKU’s and special-order product codes.
  • Monitor costs and pricing for all product offerings, advising Area Manger on cost
  • Manage and prepare the masonry cost file monthly. Insure consistency and accuracy. Deliver prepared file to Area Manager on time for final approval.
  • Follow up with Sales Reps on job progress and completion dates.
  • Manage the daily production schedule for the plants in assigned area. Coordinate with the Masonry Production Supervisor concerning the daily production.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager and Area Manager to ensure process controls are followed throughout manufacturing and fulfillment of our product offerings. This includes monitoring workflows, ensuring quality control, troubleshooting issues, and suggesting improvements to maintain efficiency and product quality.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process controls, and training to ensure accurate inventory tracking in assigned area.
  • Identify root cause of inventory physical/virtual mismatches.
  • Work directly with Masonry Supervisor over the area yard to establish and maintain yard organization for all products.
  • Manage regularly scheduled cycle counts of all inventories; Produced & purchased products. Production raw materials & additives. Manufacturing replacement parts and consumables. Monthly.
  • Conduct annual area inventory.
  • Prepare inspection/audit reports for management. Assume responsibility for inventory audits from external auditors.
  • Manage stock adjustments and works-orders.
  • Manage direct reports.
  • Work closely with Area Manager to continually improve processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
