About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic, detail-obsessed, and people-savvy Director of Finance to shape our financial future as we scale. Based in the heart of Kelowna, you'll work directly with the executive team to optimize financial performance, ensure compliance, and build systems that fuel intelligent growth.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting with precision and clarity
  • Design real-time dashboards and forecasting models to guide executive decisions
  • Own cross-functional budgeting and present financial insights company-wide
  • Manage financial risk, optimize cash flow, and support long-term strategic planning
  • Act as the go-to compliance expert on Canadian accounting standards
  • Lead all audit processes and collaborate with external partners

Controls, Compliance & Operational Excellence

  • Build scalable financial controls and approval workflows
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across all operations
  • Conduct internal audits and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency

Experience and Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • 5–10 years of experience in senior financial roles
  • Strong command of ERP systems, accounting software, and RPA tools
  • Expert-level Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Proven ability to manage compliance, reporting, and strategic decision-making

Preferred:

  • Experience with financial automation platforms (e.g., Netsuite, QuickBooks, SAP)
  • Background in scaling companies or startup environments
  • Familiarity with HR/payroll collaboration or people operations
  • $120,000 – $150,000 CAD OTE
