Job description

Allow us to introduce ourselves:

Coachwood Group is a Windsor-based portfolio of businesses that owns Biosteel, Canadian Protein, Coachwood Golf & Country Club, Coachwood Capital and a few other companies.

Canadian Protein was just recently awarded “Company of the Year” at the 2024 Business Excellence Awards, while Coachwood Golf & Country Club boasts one of the region's best golf & dining experiences.

Biosteel, our most recent acquisition in 2023 was a powerhouse of a brand that scaled unsustainably and it is our mission to turn it around and continue to offer customers incredible products.

Our passion for success begins with CEO Dan Crosby, who started from humble beginnings selling tubs of protein from his basement. More than 15 years later with nearly 200 employees across several businesses, the same relentless pursuit for success still lies at the heart of everything we do today!

Why you will love it here:

So why is Coachwood Group such a great place to work? Our entrepreneurial DNA means we are constantly looking to grow and expand, which creates plenty of opportunities for promotion from within. And because we are locally owned and operated, our close-knit and supportive environment makes it easy to collaborate, learn, and grow alongside colleagues who truly care about each other’s success. We trust our employees to take ownership of their work and try to delegate and empower rather than micromanage. After all, we don’t want this to be just a job, we want it to be your career!

What Success Looks Like:

Six months in, you’ve become the go-to expert for our marketplace strategy. Sales are climbing, margins are strong, and our presence across Amazon (Seller and Vendor Central), Walmart, and other platforms is more robust than ever. You've revitalized legacy products, launched new winners, and built scalable systems that keep us agile in a fast-moving e-commerce world. Through smart planning, tight coordination with marketing and ops, and a sharp eye on marketplace trends, you’ve helped solidify Coachwood Group as a category leader across the digital shelf.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales, marketplace trends, and customer behaviour to inform decisions and identify high-potential opportunities
  • Guide the repositioning of underperforming SKUs to improve profitability and relevance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure inventory planning and fulfillment aligns with demand and avoids stockouts/overstock
  • Monitor and advise on PPC and advertising performance managed by other team members—provide input, flag issues, and track ROI
  • Track competitor activity, pricing shifts, and category movements to keep our offerings ahead of the curve
  • Coordinate with marketing, creative, and operations to plan successful launches and promotional events
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and documentation to scale marketplace operations effectively
  • Explore new marketplace opportunities and lead onboarding when appropriate.
  • Own listing strategy and optimization across marketplaces—titles, images, content, backend keywords, and A+ content
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth across Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, Walmart Marketplace, and other third-party platforms

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing e-commerce marketplace sales, including Amazon (Seller + Vendor Central) and Walmart Marketplace
  • Demonstrated ability to grow revenue and margin while managing complexity across multiple platforms
  • Deep understanding of listing optimization, content best practices, and merchandising strategy
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to guide decisions and drive results
  • Experience with demand forecasting, inventory planning, and SKU lifecycle management
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and highly adaptable in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment
  • Awareness of PPC, DSP, and other advertising tools (you won't manage them directly, but should be fluent enough to contribute insights)
  • Passion for staying current on e-commerce trends, tools, and platform updates

Benefits:

  • Employee discount on all our brands (including Biosteel & Canadian Protein)
  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • Career growth and advancement opportunities
  • On-site parking
  • Supportive, energetic team culture
  • Full training and onboarding
  • Health and safety protocols in place
