Are you passionate about digital marketing and website management? Sun Peaks Resort and the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel are looking for a Marketing & Website Coordinator to support our marketing team. This unique shared-services role helps align and deliver engaging, high-performing digital content across both organizations.

Working closely with the Web and E-Commerce Marketing Manager, you’ll manage website updates using a content management system (CMS), oversee chatbot performance using Satisfi LLM, and support e-commerce operations. If you love skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, or mountain life in general—this could be your dream job.

Compensation Information: $60,000 per annum

Physical Requirement: Sedentary; work activities involve handling loads up to 5kg; predominantly in an indoor setting.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

Skills you bring with you:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a marketing, digital content, or e-commerce role (experience in tourism, resort, or hospitality is an asset).
  • Strong computer literacy and familiarity with CMS platforms.
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday, Asana).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Weekend and holiday work required.
  • Passion for the mountain lifestyle — skiing, snowboarding, biking, hiking, or golf experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Website Management: Coordinate and publish updates across the resort and hotel websites, ensuring accurate and timely information for business listings, product details, promotions, and event pages. Support snow reporting, operations and weather-related content updates to maintain guest awareness and engagement.
  • Content & Copywriting: Write and edit clear, compelling content for the website and e-commerce platforms, aligning tone and messaging with brand standards and marketing objectives.
  • Chat and Email Signature Management: Oversee the performance and continuous improvement of chatbot and email signature platforms, including training updates and content management. Monitor analytics to identify opportunities that enhance the guest experience.
  • Promotions Management: Manage promotions, gift certificates, donation requests and complimentary mountain products.
  • E-Commerce Support: Coordinate updates and conduct thorough testing for the resort’s online store, ensuring a smooth and accurate transaction experience for guests.
  • Analytics & Optimization: Maintain and interpret website analytics dashboards using GA4, generating actionable reports and recommending optimizations. Manage Google Business listings and other third-party platforms to ensure accurate and effective representation.
  • Research & UX: Conduct market and usability research to inform digital strategies and improve website content and design. Apply digital best practices to continually enhance the overall user experience.
  • Administrative & Cross-Functional Support: Provide additional support for social media and communications initiatives, collaborating with various departments to ensure alignment across marketing efforts. Engage with key stakeholders in the mountain community to support broader marketing goals.
