OVERVIEW: This is a creative leadership role dedicated to shaping marketing campaigns, producing seasonal catalogues, defining visual branding, and delivering high-impact design assets. The role requires oversight of a small marketing team with close collaboration across sales, product, and leadership departments. Responsibilities include managing photoshoots, developing trade show materials, and producing high-impact marketing collateral. This is a hands-on position blending strategic planning with creative execution. The role offers autonomy to shape visual direction while maintaining alignment with company goals and brand standards. Your top-performing materials will guide major national retailers in selecting and ordering products. This is the type of company where you will gain more hands-on experience in one year than five years at an agency. Having grown by 500% over 10 years, the work environment is exciting, the atmosphere is friendly, the workspace is newly renovated, and the team is fun.

SALARY: $70,000 per year

ABOUT CTI: CTi Living is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality plastic containers for both indoor and outdoor use, serving the floral and home décor industries. Their diverse product line ranges from ready-to-use designs to fully customized solutions, tailored to meet the unique needs of their clients. With a strong focus on innovative design, exceptional craftsmanship, and attentive customer service, they ensure each container is not only visually striking but also highly functional. At every stage, their unwavering dedication to quality and customer satisfaction sets them apart.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

SOME OF WHAT YOU MIGHT DO:

  • Lead the creation of seasonal catalogues in collaboration with the Sales and Design teams, including layout planning, image selection, and visual storytelling that brings product collections to life
  • Plan and manage professional photoshoots—from concept to execution—for headshots, lifestyle imagery, and plant photography to support seasonal and core marketing initiatives
  • Oversee the design and ongoing updates of key brand materials such as product guides, ensuring consistency and relevance with new product additions making them intuitive, trend-forward, and easy to navigate
  • Design and develop a wide range of marketing materials, including business cards, stickers, flyers, and email campaigns (e.g., MailChimp), all aligned with our brand voice and aesthetic
  • Play a lead role in the redesign of the CTI website and homepage, ensuring a seamless user experience and visually engaging layout that aligns with modern web standards
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of the customer portal dashboard, ensuring users can easily request quotes and access real-time order information
  • Supervise and mentor one junior staff member, providing creative direction and ensuring consistent, high-quality design execution across projects
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all marketing visuals, platforms, and collateral reflect a unified brand identity and deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Bring creative energy, project leadership, and a solutions-first mindset to every challenge—whether it's a photoshoot hiccup or a homepage overhaul
  • Demonstrate strong ownership of your projects, while inspiring team collaboration and always seeking opportunities to elevate the brand visually and strategically

SOME REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field or similar experience
  • Relevant experience in a similar role, with readiness to take on a larger creative challenge
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing or a related field, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Strong design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and website design tools
  • Experience in leading website redesigns and improving user experience
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Ability to work creatively under pressure, maintaining high standards of quality
  • Experience with market research and brand development
  • Comfortable handling multiple assignments and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal instruction
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, capable of juggling competing priorities
  • Ability to work collaboratively and harmoniously with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within North America and Asia (approximately 5%)
