We’re seeking a passionate Marketing Specialist to support our Go-to-Market (GTM) efforts on the Small and Medium Business (SMB) team. This role involves managing daily GTM requests, especially for sales communications, and supporting product and system launches. The challenge is to balance speed, accuracy, and impact while handling a high volume of requests during peak periods like Small Business Month and Black Friday. You will also contribute to exploring AI capabilities to simplify the selling process across our sales channels.
Impact and CollaborationThe successful candidate will be a key member of our Channel Marketing GTM team, working with Product, Pricing, Marketing, Digital, and Sales stakeholders. Your role will involve developing, executing, and refining daily communications and long-term GTM strategies to ensure our sales teams can easily communicate the value of our products, facilitating effective selling that benefits TELUS and our customers. This is vital for achieving sales and revenue goals across all channels, from direct sales to retail stores.
Responsibilities- Create and manage sales communications and job aids for pricing and product updates to assist sales reps in understanding and retaining information
- Handle high-volume communication requests efficiently, managing priorities and deadlines to drive sales
- Support digital merchandising updates to keep our web presence current
- Contribute to evolving our GTM strategies, including processes, tools, and platforms, to stay competitive
- Explore and implement AI tools to enhance GTM operations and sales enablement
- Provide strategic support for channel inquiries and escalations via communication channels like chats
- Manage your projects end-to-end, using KPIs to measure success
QualificationsWhat you bring- 1 to 3 years of experience in go-to-market, channel marketing, sales enablement, or similar roles focused on GTM strategy and execution
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders, including product, marketing, and sales teams
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and thoroughness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify messages and structure information effectively
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and manage multiple requests efficiently
- Ability to prioritize requests to meet desired outcomes
Preferred Skills- Bilingual in English and French is an asset
- Experience in telecommunications, technology, or B2B sales is preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
Advanced English knowledge is required, as most interactions and tools are in English, given the national scope of the role.
