Marketing Specialist

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Location: Vancouver, BC

Annual Salary: $60,000 - $68,000 based on experience

We are looking for an experienced individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join the COBS Bread Marketing Team. This position specializes in managing local and regional marketing programs and deliver campaigns that achieve set KPIs through various marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute against Local Marketing Strategy annually, for bakery integration
  • Provide consultation to Area Managers regarding bakery Local Marketing initiatives
  • Update and manage Canva templates
  • Act as SME for Group and Local marketing initiatives for campaigns
  • Develop Regional Marketing Strategy annually in line with marketing and business objectives
  • Develop community strategy annually and support Community Day efforts
  • Manage and execute sponsorship opportunities and maximize day-to-day donation activities
  • Support and execute against new bakery openings with a diversified marketing plan, as well as renovated bakery re-openings with streamlined plan
  • Manage marketing processes and forms to assist with the efficiencies in the department
  • Provide support for Marketing projects as required

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Marketing/Advertising/Communications degree or equivalent
  • 2-4 years experience developing and executing Marketing programs to support multi-level stores
  • Supervisor experience an asset
  • Retail & Sales experience an asset
  • Strong project management skills in overseeing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with strength in presentations
  • Excellent written communication skills with strength in short and long form copywriting
  • Knowledge of Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods and/or Franchising is an asset
