We are seeking a dynamic highly motivated detail-oriented and versatile Marketing Specialist to lead and execute marketing initiatives across multiple channels. This role requires a well-rounded and curious candidate with experience and keen interest in brand planning product commercialization digital marketing content strategy and execution and brand campaign tactics and activation. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and collaborator who can drive brand awareness and support category growth initiatives with an omni-channel marketing mindset.
The responsibilities of this position shall consist of but not be limited to the following :
Brand Strategy
- Contribute to the development and execution of brand strategies to achieve long-term and short-term business goals.
- Support and execute integrated marketing campaigns including digital social media retail and experiential marketing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales QA and operations to align marketing initiatives to support delivery of annual business objectives.
Commercialization Leadership
- Assist in the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (product sales customer success) to ensure alignment to launch of new products.
- Partner with the PMO to facilitate the process of bringing all new products / innovation to Canada in collaboration with the North American Support Centre.
- Lead with support sales engagement including communication of marketing initiatives collaboration on sales tools requirements for launches or customer brand activation and supporting ad hoc brand / marketing requests as needed.
- Support the creation of marketing collateral presentations and sales enablement tools in collaboration with Marketing Insights and Sales leaders.
Campaign Execution
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns in collaboration with Jack Links internal and external business partners including product launches promotions and events.
- Manage campaign timeline and workback schedules in collaboration with agency partners
- Lead weekly agency partner meetings and ensure campaign development / delivery aligns to the strategic marketing plan.
Social & Digital Marketing
- Oversee the development of social & digital marketing strategies and plans to ensure strategic implementation of engaging content (paid earned & owned) for websites social media email campaigns and other related marketing channels.
- Collaborate with agencies and multifunctional teams to implement strategies that drive social and digital engagement both with existing audiences and new audiences.
- Leverage insights and key performance indicators in collaboration with digital / social agency. partner(s) to ensure optimization of online brand presence reach and content engagement metrics.
Market Research & Analysis
- Understand and leverage research to understand customer needs industry trends and competitive positioning.
- Leverage insights and research to inform campaign strategies and go-to-market opportunities.
Analytics and Performance Tracking
- Monitor key marketing metrics across campaigns and channels analyze data and leverage learnings to optimize strategies for better results.
- Work collaboratively with agency partners to create and complete monthly marketing scorecards and / or dashboards to inform plans and opportunities for improvement.
Planning and Budgeting
- Assists in the development of the marketing plan to achieve annual portfolio and product innovation sales & profit objectives on budget.
- Manage individual campaign budgets and agency billing schedules.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary
Qualifications : Required Education :
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Communications or a related field.
Required Experience :
- 2 years of experience in marketing preferably in a generalist role.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing content strategy and brand management.
- Proficiency in marketing tools such as Google Analytics CRM software and social media platforms is an asset.
- Excellent communication analytical and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
