Position Overview :

We are seeking a versatile and proactive Marketing Specialist to join our in-house marketing team. This role blends tactical execution with strategic support across digital content, campaign coordination, lead generation, and brand consistency.

The ideal candidate brings a strong working knowledge of HubSpot, experience with paid and organic social, and an interest in optimizing content across multiple platforms. You’ll play a key role in managing campaigns, supporting ecommerce accuracy, monitoring engagement channels (including Google Reviews), and driving performance reporting across digital touchpoints.

Location : Burlington head office, potential for hybrid

Key Responsibilities :

Content & Social Media :

  • Maintain and execute a structured content calendar across social media channels and locations.
  • Plan and schedule content using HubSpot, ensuring alignment with product launches, seasonal promotions, and key moments.
  • Create engaging blog content that supports product education, trends, and customer interests.
  • Monitor and respond to social media messages, comments, and reviews; escalate as needed.
  • Track UGC, brand mentions, and social trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Develop, publish, and report on paid social ad campaigns (Meta Ads).
  • Monitor and report on content performance metrics across paid and organic efforts.
  • Monitor and respond to Google Reviews within 48 hours, escalating as needed.

Email & Marketing :

  • Build and deploy marketing emails using HubSpot.
  • Write subject lines, headlines, and promotional copy that aligns with campaign goals.
  • Implement UTM tracking and QA processes.
  • Report on key email performance metrics such as open rates and CTRs.
  • Website & SEO :

  • Add and maintain product listings in the Magento-based CMS, including updates to pricing and content.
  • Ensure accuracy and relevance of blog and FAQ content throughout the year.
  • Publish new FAQ content monthly to address customer questions and product knowledge gaps.
  • Implement SEO recommendations using tools such as Moz (e.g., title tags, meta descriptions, internal links).
  • Campaign & Event Support :

  • Assist in coordinating retail promotions, seasonal campaigns, and in-store events.
  • Contribute to planning timelines, asset requests, and campaign deliverables.
  • Ensure campaign materials are produced and delivered in line with deadlines and store needs.
  • Reporting & Optimization :

  • Track and report on content, ad, email, and SEO performance metrics.
  • Analyze data to uncover performance trends and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance engagement, conversion, and campaign efficiency.
  • Key Qualifications :

  • 4+ years in a marketing role with a focus on digital execution and campaign performance.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot is required.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Magento, WordPress, Google Ads & Meta Ads.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and implementation best practices.
  • Strong writing and copyediting skills with a keen eye for detail and tone.
  • Confident multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with content, sales, and operations teams.
  • Working knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Asana, and basic design programs (Canva, Adobe Suite).
