Marketing Manager
Full-time, Permanent
Hybrid, Based out of Toronto

The Responsible Gambling Council is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to problem gambling prevention. For over 40 years, we have worked to reduce gambling risk through innovative awareness and information programs in Ontario and globally. We focus on priority populations, including youth, young adults, ethnocultural groups, and the general public, to educate about gambling risks, mitigation strategies, and support access. We collaborate with industry and regulators to promote improved play safeguards via research, standards, and the RG Check accreditation.

Join RGC to craft impactful marketing strategies that benefit communities and partners worldwide. Our expanding marketing team seeks an innovative leader passionate about creativity in brand communication, social media, community activations, and programs. This role offers the chance to work with diverse teams and creative agencies to drive initiatives and mentor team members, making a meaningful difference in the evolving gambling sector, across B2C and B2B channels. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Marketing & Communications (40%)
  2. Develop and execute brand strategies with the AD and VP to enhance visibility and align with organizational goals.
  3. Lead campaign creation and delivery across channels, ensuring brand consistency, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Create marketing materials supporting youth, community, and young adult programs.
  5. Support sports betting partnerships with leagues through campaigns and community engagement.
  6. Drive marketing efforts for RGC’s B2B portfolios.
  7. Apply knowledge of EDI principles to engage diverse communities, focusing on ethnocultural markets.
  1. Social Media Management (35%)
  2. Manage all social media channels, including strategy, content planning, community engagement, and guiding the marketing coordinator.
  3. Coordinate content sourcing, respond to social media interactions, and evaluate content performance.
  1. B2B Support & Events (15%)
  2. Create marketing collateral for B2B services growth.
  3. Leverage partnerships for conference and industry event campaigns.
  4. Build relationships with industry partners to enhance marketing opportunities.
  1. Conference Brand Marketing (10%)
  2. Oversee branding and marketing for conferences, ensuring cohesive messaging.
  3. Work with organizers to produce tailored marketing materials.
  1. Other Tasks as Required
  2. Handle additional projects aligned with organizational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years in strategic marketing or similar roles.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Expertise in brand management and social media strategy.
  • Experience with creative agencies on multi-channel campaigns.
  • Experience engaging diverse populations in campaigns/communications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities.
  • Creative and strategic mindset focused on results.
  • Experience mentoring and managing teams.

ASSETS

  • Interest or experience in sports betting.
  • Experience in conference marketing or B2B communications.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools for campaign measurement.
  • Bilingual proficiency is an asset.
