What to Expect:
You will be responsible for the management of “We Proudly Serve Starbucks” business portfolio including Starbucks Coffee and Beverages Products, dispensing equipment, smallware and branding material within Nestlé Canada’s foodservice division - Nestlé Professional.

A day in the life:

  • Own the P&L and be responsible for building and executing Annual Marketing Plans that deliver on the business strategies
  • Bring the essence of the Starbucks master brand to life within foodservice channels by implementing pre-aligned brand guidelines and monitoring compliance
  • Grow the Starbucks core coffee and beverages business in the non-commercial foodservice channels such as Lodging, Healthcare, Education, Offices
  • Lead the execution of seasonal beverage programs with limited time menus promoted though online (email, website, social, ecommerce) and offline marketing platforms
  • Identify innovation and renovation (I&R) opportunities based on consumer needs, operator needs and long-term category strategies
  • Work with the Nestlé Commercialization team and Starbucks team members to complete tasks related to each step of the Idea-to-Launch process
  • Liaise with Nestlé US Marketing counterparts and Nestlé Global Headquarter point of contact to leverage resources and cross-share data and insights to build strategies
  • Monitor out-of-home beverage menu and pricing trends, provide insight support to Sales team for product demonstrations and presentations to key customers
  • Enable Sales team to acquire, grow and retain customers by arranging training and ensuring availability of selling tools, operator tools, smallware etc.
  • Be responsible for the performance, coaching and development of a Marketing Associate

Role Requirements

  • A University degree in Business or Marketing, and or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience required in Packaged Goods or Food & Beverage industry
  • Foodservice experience is preferred; Business to Business (B2B) Marketing/ Sales experience will be considered an asset
  • Must be able to optimally handle change in a multifaceted environment and take care of uncertainties
  • Should be adept at moving between critical thinking and operational executions

  • Must be able to work independently with strong work ethic and ownership
