Job Description

Our client is seeking a Marketing Manager in Canada. We’re looking for an individual who understands the technical space and can build and execute marketing programs that deliver measurable results. The ideal candidate will be able to work both strategically (big-picture planning) and hands-on (executing campaigns, content creation, sales alignment). They should possess a can-do attitude, be reasonably detail-oriented, and capable of managing and empowering a team of three, while also contributing as an individual contributor.

Qualifications
  • Must reside in Canada
  • Technical marketing knowledge – Understanding of open-source ecosystems/Linux and infrastructure-related marketing. Not an engineer, but capable of translating technical value into clear, compelling messaging for our target audience.
  • B2B experience, not B2C
  • Sales & marketing alignment – Proven experience in driving lead generation, demand creation, and campaigns that support revenue objectives.
  • Campaign execution – Ability to structure, launch, and optimize technical marketing campaigns aligned with business priorities.
  • Content & messaging expertise – Skilled in positioning technical products and services effectively for engineering and IT leadership audiences.
  • Process & structure – Capable of organizing marketing workflows, meeting deadlines, and ensuring efficient operation of the marketing function.
