Our diverse portfolio includes leading hospitality businesses, experiential venues like Par Tee Putt and Par Tee Pong, as well as AdmitOne, the fastest-growing multi-product ticketing platform in North America. We are at the forefront of the experience economy.

Who you are:

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Head of Marketing, you are an experienced Marketing Manager excited to work directly with the award-winning Festivals & Events team at MRG Live. Strategic, creative, and highly organized, you bring a proven track record in event marketing, media buying, creative writing, campaign execution, brand management, and onsite execution. You thrive in dynamic environments and are ready to lead marketing initiatives for a diverse portfolio of festivals and public events, including Car Free Day Surrey, Khatsahlano Street Party, Filberg Festival, Pleasant Day Festival, Flats Fest, Metro Vancouver & TransLink activations at the PNE, and more.

The Fine Print:

  • Lead the execution, analysis, and optimization of marketing campaigns to meet and exceed attendance and revenue targets
  • Manage marketing budgets, digital advertising (social, search, display), media buying, and relationships with media and creative partners
  • Drive creative strategy—contribute new ideas, write ad briefs, press releases, and promotional copy for each campaign
  • Develop integrated marketing plans, including print, digital, and on-site strategies aligned with brand standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Producers and internal teams to ensure alignment on event priorities and timelines
  • Oversee onsite content creation, event signage production, and manage MRG Events’ digital channels (social, newsletters, websites)
  • Lead event reporting, performance tracking, and grant/award submissions
  • Identify cross-promotional opportunities within MRG Group and execute localized promotions, contests, and print campaigns
  • Support website development, updates, and analytics for event-specific pages
  • Work closely with the MRG Live Concerts team to both lead and assist in concert marketing efforts as needed.
  • Assist with additional marketing and communications tasks as required

We are looking for someone with:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in live events, entertainment, or experience industries
  • Skilled in project management, multitasking, and cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced environments
  • Strong communicator with creative writing, interpersonal, and community engagement strengths
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
  • Proficient with digital marketing platforms, CMS (WordPress, Webflow), and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Knowledgeable about current marketing and social media trends and tools
  • Physically capable of lifting 25 lbs, standing for long periods, and working variable hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Must have a Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a vehicle

What’s In It For You?

  • Participation in the MRG Travel Ambassador Program
  • A fun and casual environment. You will be joining a close-knit, innovative team of creative and energetic professionals
  • Employee Discounts to MRG’s concerts/shows and at MRG run hospitality venues
  • A welcoming, fun and safe work environment where everyone can show up authentically to work each day and feel respected
