Job Title: Marketing Manager
Working with the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will focus on the planning and execution of all marketing programs and plans; ensuring alignment with the North America marketing objectives to increase sales, grow market share, and improve profitability.
Product Marketing
- Responsible for planning, forecasting, and monthly management of all sample, collateral, and non-saleable promotional forecasts.
- Liaise with both local and NOAM Planning and Operations teams to ensure consistent follow-up on all projects for on-time shipment of collateral, samples, and promotional materials to support marketing programs.
- Leverage available NPD data to develop and form strategic decisions.
- Partner with Marketing Director on category reviews for relevant segments, involving research on trends, competition, and consumer dynamics, with analysis and strategic recommendations.
- Coordinate with the Corporate Visual Team, NOAM, and global counterparts to plan, brief, produce, and deliver visual merchandising assets for new launches and openings, creating locally when needed.
Trade Marketing
- Serve as primary liaison with NOAM Marketing team to align strategies and leverage programming.
- Participate in all NOAM Marketing calls for timely updates affecting Canadian planning.
- Develop and implement trade marketing programs with retailers, understanding retailer levers, loyalty, COOP, VIP programs, etc.
- Utilize Retailer CRM data for consumer insights and strategic decisions.
- Support retail partner meetings and campaigns, managing calendars and tracking results.
- Collaborate with local Field Sales and cross-functional teams via weekly calls.
Consumer Marketing
- Assist in national media strategy and collaborate with Consumer Engagement and NOAM ECOM teams.
- Lead programs with media agencies and manage localized assets for media plans.
- Oversee retailer co-op programs with ecommerce support.
- Coordinate with Marketing and PR teams on market initiatives.
Finance
- Manage fiscal budget planning, tracking, and reconciliation with finance and retailers.
Market Engagement
- Monitor competitive activity across print, digital, and social platforms.
- Stay informed on digital and social media executions relevant to the brand.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree/diploma required.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferably in the cosmetic/prestige industry.
- Strong relationship-building, organizational, digital, and social media skills.
- Data-driven, excellent communication, strategic thinking, and budget management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced computer skills.
