Job Description - Marketing Manager, Advisor Experience (2500489)

At Raymond James, we develop, we collaborate, we decide, we deliver, and we improve together.

Raymond James Ltd. is Canada’s leading independent investment dealer offering high-quality investment products and services to Canadians seeking customized solutions to their wealth management needs.

How does the role impact the organization?

We’re looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to join our Advisor Experience team. In this role, you’ll be a key partner to our top-performing financial advisors, helping them elevate their brand and marketing presence through tailored, high-impact solutions. You’ll collaborate across our in-house marketing team and other stakeholders—spanning design, digital, social media, media relations, corporate content, supervision, compliance, and branch managers—to deliver seamless, integrated marketing solutions that reflect the Raymond James brand and drive measurable results for advisors.

This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional with agency-side experience and a passion for client service to make a meaningful impact in the growing wealth management space.

What will your role be responsible for?

  1. Lead advisor marketing intake and project coordination, ensuring clear communication of requests, timelines, and deliverables across internal teams and stakeholders.
  2. Act as a brand steward, reviewing and advising on edits to advisor marketing materials to reflect creative and copy best practices, and alignment with brand and compliance standards.
  3. Provide strategic marketing guidance to advisors, while collaborating with other marketing subject matter experts, to help advisors position their practices in a professional, client-centric, and differentiated way.
  4. Analyze advisor needs and marketing trends to identify scalable solutions, workflow improvements, and creative opportunities.
  5. Support advisor training and enablement, including a quarterly training series, toolkit development, and troubleshooting support.
  6. Contribute to strategic initiatives, such as competitive reviews, presentation development, and enhancements to our advisor service model.

What can you expect from us?

Our most important investment is in people. Raymond James Ltd offers flexible work styles and a competitive compensation and benefits package. Our benefits include Health Benefits, RRSP Matching Program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Paid Time Off, Volunteer Days, Discretionary Bonuses, Tuition Reimbursement, and more! We also support internal promotion and community involvement.

What do we expect from you?

  • 3–5 years of progressive professional marketing experience, ideally in a hybrid of agency and in-house roles.
  • Experience in financial services (preferably wealth management) or professional services is strongly preferred.
  • A degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French is an asset.
  • Experience in traditional, print, digital, email, and social marketing, with demonstrated interest in emerging technologies like generative AI.
  • Proficient with MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A sharp eye for design and branding, with solid knowledge of creative best practices and briefs.
  • A client-first mindset with a passion for delivering value and building relationships.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and a desire to learn and grow continuously.

Why Join Us?

You’ll be part of a collaborative, fun, high-performing multidisciplinary marketing team that values creativity, curiosity, and continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, expand your marketing toolkit, and grow your career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

We expect our associates at all levels to:

  • Grow professionally and inspire others to do the same.
  • Work with and through others to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Make prompt, pragmatic choices and act with the client in mind.
  • Take ownership and hold themselves and others accountable for delivering results that matter.
  • Contribute to the continuous evolution of the firm.

At Raymond James, we honor, value, and respect the uniqueness, experiences, and backgrounds of all our associates. When associates bring their authentic selves, our organization, clients, and communities thrive. We are committed to accessibility for candidates through all stages of the recruitment process.
