Job description

Our client is one of the leading insurance brokerages and is seeking an experienced Insurance Marketing Manager to join their team in Vancouver. If you're a dedicated insurance professional looking to take the next step in your career, this opportunity is for you.

What you will be doing:

  1. Act as liaison between staff and Account Executives to resolve issues requiring attention
  2. Perform annual staff performance reviews and provide recommendations when needed
  3. Collaborate with leadership to develop efficient workflow systems
  4. Review monthly reports to ensure timely account renewals
  5. Conduct process assessments across Commercial Insurance to implement continuous improvement initiatives
  6. Lead regular team meetings and provide training/mentoring to staff
  7. Perform periodic file audits to ensure procedures are followed
  8. Provide marketing and policy rating service to the Management team
  9. Liaise with Account Executives to discuss client needs and negotiate with insurers
  10. Support staff with policy coverage questions and technical underwriting information

What we are looking for:

  1. Minimum 7 years of Commercial Marketing experience
  2. General Insurance Agent Level 2 license or equivalent in your province
  3. Insurance designations (CAIB, CIP, CRM) considered an asset
  4. Exceptional client service skills and attention to detail
  5. Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach
  7. Experience with broker management systems preferred

Salary range: $100,000 to $125,000 based on experience
