Marketing Manager

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Tasks:

1. Analyze market research data to improve business decisions or activities
2. Develop all kinds of events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes
3. Evaluate the marketing strategies used by establishments
4. Oversee the preparation of written material for website content
5. Publicize activities, workshops, meetings and other events for fundraising or information purposes
6. Develop promotional materials
7. Market business services
8. Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that publicize activities and events on behalf of businesses, governments and other organizations
9. Plan, direct and evaluate the activities of firms and departments that develop and implement advertising campaigns to promote the sales of products and services
10. Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material
11. Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions

Supervision: 1 to 2 people
