About the Opportunity

We are currently looking for afull-time Marketing Manager,to join our team inVancouver, BC.

Reporting to the Director of Advocacy & Engagement, this role is responsible for leading VRCA’s marketing efforts, including digital strategy, content creation, campaign execution, and brand development to support events, education, membership, and advocacy initiatives.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Creating compelling written content for newsletters, website, social media, and digital campaigns
  • Planning and executing social media and email marketing strategies using scheduling and automation tools
  • Developing and managing targeted digital campaigns with a focus on SEO, SEM, and Google Ads
  • Monitoring and reporting on engagement metrics and KPIs to optimize campaign effectiveness
  • Designing branded assets across digital and print platforms, including web visuals, infographics, and event materials
  • Applying AI tools to enhance content creation, design workflows, and automation
  • Ensuring brand consistency across all platforms and marketing initiatives
  • Supporting cross-functional initiatives across departments through creative storytelling and design
  • Staying current on marketing, design, and digital trends to inform campaign strategy
  • Managing multiple concurrent projects with strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive marketing strategies that build community and grow impact
  • Elevating the VRCA brand through innovative, purpose-driven marketing
About You

To qualify, you will need apost-secondary degree in marketing, communications, or design.A minimum of5 years of hands-on experiencein marketing, digital content, or a related role will also be essential.You must also have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and social scheduling tools such as Hootsuite or Later
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Asana
  • Working knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and Google Ads
  • Strong portfolio showcasing writing and/or design capabilities
  • Experience supporting marketing initiatives for events, associations, or member-based organizations
  • Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Canva Magic) for creative problem solving
