Job summary

CEDARLANE, a manufacturer and distributor of Life Science products, is seeking a Marketing Manager for a 1-year contract in Burlington, Ontario. The role involves overseeing marketing strategies, managing a team, and coordinating with partners to enhance brand presence in various channels. Ideal candidates will possess a diploma in Business/Marketing, extensive marketing experience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • University or College Diploma in Business/Marketing. Science background is a definite asset.
  • 6-8 years of experience in a Marketing role; any team management or supervision an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator, an asset.
  • Experience in Distribution an asset.
  • Experience in Life Sciences/Biotech an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated team player and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Detail oriented with strong follow-through processes.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated team player with a positive attitude and willingness to adjust programs based on success and feedback of prior programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate with supplier partners and other internal stakeholders to plan and prioritize various brand campaigns across all available marketing channels.
  • Performs all management functions for the team to include human resource process and overall team and project management.
  • Manage all new supplier onboarding processes, promotions, marketing collateral (publications) and digital communications.
  • Coordinate direct marketing concepts to be in sync across channels and various Cedarlane divisions.
  • Coordinate and organize well-balanced and profitable promotional actions by establishing constructive and confident communication with Sales team, portfolio team, and vendors.
  • Coordinate and ensure Canadian digital tools are current along with website updates.
  • Coordinate vendors to integrate appropriate marketing programs/promotions and channel options.
  • Support and implement program(s)/campaign(s) and go-to-market plans designed to maximize new product and vendor launches.
  • Drive sales of specific products and awareness of Cedarlane in various market segments.
  • Collaborate with sales force to leverage program(s) and drive sales.
  • Lead collaboration and message development between internal customers, marketing communication and sales organization in production and implementation of materials.

Cedarlane, a TCPA Company, is a manufacturer and distributor of Life Science products used in research and diagnostic laboratories, is looking for a Marketing Manager, based on out the Burlington, Ontario area. This role is a 1 year contract.

Marketing Manager is the Cedarlane Marketing go-to expert on all projects and processes and will share full responsibility for all Marketing Communication activities. Oversee and manage the marketing team, supplier/vendor partnerships and collaborative efforts, prioritize campaign scheduling and programs, execute overall programs both marketing and master data, analytics, and sales metrics if required.
