Qualifications

  • Baccalauréat en commerce et 5 ans d'expérience en merchandising ou marketing.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication en anglais et en français.

Reporting to the Loyalty Manager, Supplier Engagement, you will be responsible for specific loyalty marketing supplier engagement activities for various Sobeys Inc banners in Quebec (IGA, Rachelle Béry, Les Marchés Tradition). You will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of key projects and initiatives surrounding supplier funding, in addition to participating in the development and deployment of key strategic initiatives to increase supplier and customer engagement in the Scene+. In addition to these Quebec specific responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to support the piloting and deployment of key Scene+ loyalty initiatives across Sobeys Inc banners nationally.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

  • Lead the process to secure Scene+ supplier funding commitments for QC suppliers.
  • Establish strong working relationships with Merchandising and Banner Loyalty team.
  • Provide follow up and support for to resolve issues surrounding supplier funding.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to increase Scene+ supplier funding in Quebec.
  • Provide regular updates to merchandising and marketing teams on supplier funding progress and opportunities.
  • Engage with suppliers partners to address loyalty funding opportunities and support merchandising teams in the development of action plans.
  • Manage and execute the supplier engagement plan and objectives related to product loyalty offers via mass and targeted channels for the various banners.
  • Lead the execution and communication of our Teammate Exclusives email program for employees in QC in conjunction with the national team.
  • Support the further integration of supplier opportunities in our direct to consumer and other digital marketing campaigns.

What you have to offer:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in a business discipline, combined with a minimum of five (5) years of merchandising or marketing experience.
  • You enjoy collaborating in a team and you stand out for your ability to communicate effectively, both in English and French (oral and written). You will work with peers in other provinces in the development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, as well as provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada.
  • You have above average Excel and Powerpoint skills.
  • You have strong relationship building skills.
  • Strong presentation skills are an asset.
  • You have the ability to manage several files simultaneously, manage your stress well while delivering on time.
  • You have good strategic thinking and analytical and synthesis skills.
  • You are known for your resourcefulness, your rigour, your open-mindedness, your creativity and your positive attitude.
  • Working knowledge of Sobeys QC merchandising tools and practices is an asset.
