Job description

Our client is searching for a Marketing Lead to join their team. This role will be responsible for driving user growth, market expansion, and brand positioning for the company’s new platform. A successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a data-driven mindset, and loves solving complex marketing challenges, scaling digital products to a massive audience, and working in a fast-moving, impact-driven startup.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies across multiple channels to engage and grow a user base of over 30,000 within a year.
  • Implement data-driven strategies to acquire and retain both listeners and users.
  • Optimize conversion funnels and paid acquisition campaigns on Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, etc.
  • Lead the Marketing team, fostering a high-performance, results-driven culture.
  • Set up real-time analytics dashboards to track campaign performance and pivot fast when needed.
  • Own and manage marketing budgets efficiently for maximum ROI.
  • Lead expansion efforts across Canada and the USA.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new regions.
  • Launch new app versions of product marketing with clear messaging, positioning, and adoption strategies.
  • Collaborate on a data-driven recommendation system for personalized user experiences.
  • Drive SEO growth, increasing organic traffic through strategic content marketing.
  • Develop email marketing and e-commerce strategies to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Establish and nurture high-value relationships with corporate and institutional partners.
  • Develop marketing strategies to integrate the platform with insurance providers and large employer benefits programs.

Your strengths include:

  • Over 8 years of experience as a Marketing Leader, successfully growing user bases from inception to over 100,000.
  • Deep expertise in performance marketing, SEO, content, and growth hacking.
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing, ideally within digital platforms.
  • Strong background in data analytics, making decisions based on numbers, not assumptions.
  • Proven success in leading teams and driving execution in high-growth environments.
  • A creative problem-solver with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Agile and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, test-quickly, pivot-quickly environment.
