Marketing Insights and Reporting Specialist

This role will work at the heart of the Marketing team, enabling us to understand how our current activities are performing and the competitive landscape. The role involves working closely with the Loyalty and Marketing teams, as well as cross-functionally, to ensure decision-making is based on data and facts. It requires a strong ability to analyze large data sets and communicate insights effectively to a broad audience.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Delivering insights to drive marketing initiatives and business results through ongoing reporting, projects, and ad hoc requests.
  2. Working primarily with Loyalty data to support strategic decisions and advance our LDExtras program.
  3. Providing scheduled reports on campaign performance and operational KPIs.
  4. Supporting marketing, digital, and category teams with ad-hoc analysis to leverage customer data for meaningful insights.
  5. Assisting business units in understanding market performance, position, and opportunities.
  6. Synthesizing large data sets from various sources, including customer transactions, research, market share, and campaign results.
  7. Interpreting data to provide valuable recommendations.
  8. Utilizing consumer research data for ongoing business benefits.
  9. Integrating disparate data sources (e.g., Nielsen, NPD, 1st party data) into actionable insights.
  10. Collaborating with third-party agencies to deliver effective reporting and recommendations.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Retail, CPG, Consumer Finance, or Telecommunications.
  • Ability to synthesize large data volumes into actionable insights.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and Business Intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, QlikView.
  • Knowledge of MS Access, SQL, Synapse; Python is a plus.

Compensation: $33.18 - $39.08 per hour
