Position: Marketing & E-Commerce Associate
Social Enterprise: ChocoSol
Location: Toronto ON (St. Clair West)
- Hours: 16–24 hours/week
- Term: 6-month contract
- Start Date: August 15th-September 1, 2025
- Compensation: $25–$30/hour (based on experience)

About ChocoSol
ChocoSol is a Toronto-based social enterprise that crafts bean-to-bar, stone-ground dark chocolate using cacao sourced through direct, horizontal-trading partnerships in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and Ecuador.

About The Role
We’re looking for a curious, motivated recent graduate to join us as a Marketing & E-Commerce Associate, helping implement a transformative digital strategy in collaboration with a top Toronto-based consultancy.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn, build your portfolio, and contribute to real change in a mission-driven organization.
Primary Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Support
You'll help implement our updated marketing strategy during a 3–4 month mentorship with TradeTools, a leading Toronto marketing consultancy.
Key Tasks Include
- Testing and implementing dashboards and KPIs
- Writing and editing product descriptions, emails, and newsletters
- Supporting A/B testing and customer journey optimization
- Contributing to our content calendar and strategy
- Monitoring and responding to reviews (Google, Gorgias, website)
- Helping align our in-person and digital brand experiences
- Analyzing data and suggesting improvements

3PL Integration
As ChocoSol prepares to integrate third-party logistics (3PL) with eShipper, you’ll support:
- Aligning packaging with our branding and eco-values
- Documenting and refining order and inventory workflows
- Assisting with ERP integration (Katana)
- Tracking inventory and fulfillment performance
- Enhancing the customer flow experience with 3PL
Secondary Responsibilities (based On Performance & Fit)
Google Suite & Analytics
- Reporting and dashboard implementation using Sheets/Forms
- Content strategy metrics and A/B testing
- Google Ads setup/support
- Tag Manager and Google Tag integration
- File/database organization based on internal SOPs
Shopify E-Commerce
- Updating and optimizing product listings
- Assisting with segmentation and email newsletter campaigns
- Implementing site tags and tracking integrations
Clover POS
- Linking in-store and online customer data
Gorgias Help Desk
- Optimize macros, tagging, and automation in Gorgias
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is passionate, organized, and eager to grow. You bring:
- Recent graduate status (within last 12 months) and age 18–30 (program eligibility)
- 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or a related role (school projects and internships count!)
- Working knowledge of Shopify and Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Forms)
- Experience with analytics platforms, A/B testing, and customer journey mapping
- Exposure to email marketing, segmentation, and tag integration
- A basic understanding of fulfillment processes, inventory systems (Katana, eShipper), or willingness to learn
- Bonus: Experience with POS (Clover), Gorgias, or ERP tools
