Marketing Director – Montreal Lighting & Hardware / Montreal Luminaire & Quincaillerie Location : Montreal, QC (Hybrid / In-Office Preferred) Full-TimeMontreal Lighting & Hardware is looking for a Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts and drive growth through strategic digital campaigns. If you're an organized, hands-on marketing leader with a deep understanding of digital marketing (paid ads, email marketing, social media) and the ability to hire and oversee the right freelancers, we want to hear from you!This role requires someone who understands each marketing channel well enough to develop effective strategies, evaluate performance, and ensure freelancers deliver quality work. You’ll be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing all marketing initiatives without directly managing an internal team.What You’ll DoDevelop & Execute Marketing Strategies – Create and implement digital marketing plans to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate leads.Manage Paid Advertising – Oversee Google Ads, Facebook / Instagram Ads, and other PPC campaigns, ensuring cost-effective performance.Email Marketing & Newsletters – Plan and execute email campaigns (Klaviyo), ensuring messaging aligns with company goals and resonates with our audience.Social Media Management – Maintain and grow our presence across Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest, either directly or by managing freelancers.Website & SEO Optimization – Collaborate with specialists to improve search rankings, user experience, and conversion rates.Performance Analysis – Track, analyze, and report on key marketing metrics, making data-driven adjustments as needed.Freelancer Coordination – Identify, hire, and manage freelance designers, copywriters, and specialists to execute marketing initiatives efficiently.What We’re Looking ForDeep understanding of digital marketing—particularly paid ads, email marketing, and social media—to effectively manage strategy and oversee freelancers.Experience in digital marketing within e-commerce, retail, or home improvement sectors.Hands-on knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, Klaviyo, and SEO best practices.Strong analytical skills – Ability to interpret marketing data and optimize campaigns for better results.Creativity & Initiative – A self-starter who brings fresh ideas and sees projects through to completion.Excellent organization – Ability to manage multiple marketing channels and coordinate freelancers effectively.Interest in home decor, lighting, or interior design is a plus.Why Join Us?A chance to shape and lead the marketing efforts for a well-established company.Work in a dynamic industry with high-impact projects.Competitive salary and growth opportunities.
