Responsibilities

• Cross-functional Coordination: work with Marketing Team to ensure campaign alignment, support initiatives, track budgets and PO's, communicate with internal teams and partners.
• Analysis & Reporting: prepare marketing reports/presentations, conduct market research, track campaign performance, share insights.
• Creative Coordination & Trafficking: manage campaign localization, approvals, clearances, delivery, trafficking, and media partner relations.

Marketing Coordinator, Amazon MGM Studios Theatrical Marketing

Amazon MGM Studios is the home for talent, creating and producing Original films and television series for a global audience. Original series premiere exclusively on Prime Video, which is available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Amazon MGM Studios also produces and acquires Original movies for theatrical release and exclusively for Prime Video.

Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our Theatrical Marketing team in Toronto, Canada. This role will support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns for film releases, ensuring smooth campaign implementation and cross-functional coordination for Canadian theatrical releases.

Key job responsibilities

Cross-functional Coordination

• Work closely with Marketing Team to ensure campaign alignment
• Support marketing initiatives, events, and activations
• Track and process marketing budgets and purchase orders
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners

Analysis & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain marketing reports and presentations
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research
• Track campaign performance metrics
• Compile and distribute campaign insights

Creative Coordination & Trafficking

• Manage print and AV campaign localization processes
• Oversee creative approvals, clearances, and delivery
• Coordinate digital and offline campaign trafficking
• Maintain relationships with media partners
• Manage internal tracking tools and dashboards

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of the television and media industry
• 2+ years experience in non-internship marketing coordination or project management
• Previous experience in the entertainment industry or media/advertising/creative agency
• Organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with a Content Management System (e.g. Wordpress, Drupla, Joomla, etc.)
• Experience using integrated campaigns to solve brand/business challenges
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business or equivalent
• Understanding of entertainment media and digital landscape
• Knowledge of marketing budget management
• Problem-solving abilities and adaptability
• Attention to detail and accuracy

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
