A leading company in the fitness industry seeks a Marketing Coordinator to drive brand campaigns and social media initiatives. Fitness World is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of brand campaigns across social media, influencer marketing, and internal activations. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about storytelling, energized by fast-paced collaboration, and excited to bring brand campaigns to life across digital and in-club touchpoints.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day social media publishing, assisting with influencer partnerships, supporting internal marketing initiatives, and helping maintain our brand’s voice across member-facing channels. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their marketing career to build a strong foundation in integrated brand marketing while learning from a supportive, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Coordination
Schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms using Meta Business Suite or similar tools.
Work with in-house creative team and club teams to source and prepare content (e.g. photos, videos, UGC).
Monitor social media engagement (comments, DMs) and escalate as needed.
Influencer & Partner Support
Assist in coordinating influencer collaborations, including outreach, approvals, and asset tracking.
Maintain influencer calendars and help organize campaign deliverables.
Track and report on content performance.
Campaign & Event Support
Assist with execution of brand campaigns and promotions, ensuring messaging is reflected in social posts and internal communications.
Support coordination of internal team & club events
Help prepare toolkits and communication materials for in-club staff.
Assist in planning and executing community events that reinforce the brand’s local presence and member-first experience.
Support experiential marketing initiatives that connect members to the brand through immersive or in-club activations.
Brand Voice & Creative Consistency
Support brand consistency across channels by helping develop and reinforce Fitness World’s tone, voice, and visual identity in content and campaign execution.
Collaborate with internal teams and creative partners to ensure campaign messaging and assets align with brand guidelines and member expectations.
Reporting & Organization
Maintain weekly social media performance dashboards.
Track and organize influencer deliverables and partner contracts.
Assist with budget tracking, purchase orders, and vendor coordination as needed.
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills & Experience
1–2 years of experience in marketing and social media
Strong understanding of social media platforms, formats, and trends.
Excellent written communication skills, with attention to tone and voice.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple moving pieces.
Familiarity with tools like Meta Suite, Canva, Monday.
Nice-to-Have Experience
Experience working with influencers, ambassadors, or brand partnerships.
Event planning or coordination skills (internal or member-facing).
Light photo / video editing skills (e.g. CapCut, Canva, Lightroom).
Passion for health, fitness, or lifestyle brands.
Experience with and passion for healthy living and fitness an asset
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and willingness to travel locally to club locations
