Are you a detail-oriented, creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, digital strategy, and hospitality? Black Rock Oceanfront Resort is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to help share the spirit of our unique resort and support our sales and marketing initiatives.

This role is a great opportunity for a collaborative and motivated individual to gain hands-on experience across all areas of marketing—from website content and social media to advertising and guest communications.

Set on the rugged West Coast of Vancouver Island, in the traditional territory of the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ – Ucluelet First Nation, Black Rock Oceanfront Resort is an independent luxury property that combines spectacular natural surroundings with warm, personalized service. What You’ll Do
As Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the resort’s sales and marketing efforts through content creation, coordination, and communication. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and responding to incoming sales and marketing inquiries.
  • Assisting with the development and execution of marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
  • Managing the resort’s website content and performance analytics with external partners.
  • Ensuring our brand message is consistently communicated across all social media platforms, in collaboration with our agency partners.
  • Coordinating print advertising and creative asset development.
  • Supporting internal departments with their marketing-related needs.
  • Capturing images and short video content around the resort for social use.
  • Monitoring local and industry trends to help position Black Rock competitively.
  • Ensuring marketing expenses are aligned with budget expectations.
  • Providing occasional backup support to the Guest Services team and completing other tasks as needed.
