Job description

We’re on a mission to reinvent the way people buy, sell, and own cars.

Clutch is Canada’s largest online used car retailer, delivering a seamless, hassle-free car buying and selling experience to drivers everywhere. Customers can browse thousands of cars from the comfort of their home, get the right one delivered to their door, and enjoy peace of mind with our 10-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

Named three years in a row to the Globe & Mail’s list of the Top Growing Companies in Canada and also awarded spots on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 lists, we’re looking to add curious, hard-working, and driven individuals to our growing team.

Headquartered in Toronto, Clutch was founded in 2017 and currently services Ontario, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. Clutch is backed by a number of world-class investors, including D1 Capital, Canaan, Real Ventures, BrandProject, and BMO. To learn more, visit clutch.ca.

About the Role:

Clutch is looking for a Marketing Project Coordinator to join the Marketing team and be an integral part of turning Clutch into a household name.

In this position, you will report to the Senior Brand Manager and work cross-functionally with Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, and Sales.

What you’ll do:

  • Champion the Brand: Help protect and grow our brand by ensuring teams follow brand guidelines and raising flags when they don’t. Support brand audits to keep everything on track.
  • Support Campaign Execution: Play a key role in executing marketing campaigns by managing asset delivery and timelines.
  • Build and Manage Vendor Partnerships: Maintain relationships with marketing vendors, seek new partners, and negotiate for the best value.
  • Keep Us Organized: Maintain marketing files, ensure project documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Own and Consolidate Budgets and Invoices: Manage invoices, track budgets, and ensure timely payments and project efficiency.
  • Coordinate Merchandise Orders: Collaborate across teams to streamline merchandise ordering from request to delivery.
  • Competitive Tracking: Monitor competitors and innovative marketing campaigns, sharing insights with the team.

You’ll be great in this role if:

  • You have 1-3 years of experience at a startup, agency, or brand.
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree (marketing preferred but not mandatory).
  • You are comfortable navigating fast-paced, changing environments.
  • You are a self-starter, motivated to take ownership.
  • You are proactive and eager to contribute to the brand’s success.
  • You want to help build Canada’s next unicorn.

You won’t enjoy this role if:

  • You prefer highly structured work environments.
  • You are uncomfortable with ambiguity or building systems from scratch.
  • You are sensitive to direct feedback.

Why you’ll love it at Clutch:

  • Autonomy & ownership — create your own path and own your work.
  • Competitive compensation.
  • Generous time off program.
  • Hybrid work environment.

Clutch is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where all individuals can succeed. If you require accommodations during the interview process, please email talent@clutch.ca.
