Core responsibilities:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing marketing initiatives, creating compelling content, supporting graphic design needs, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels. This role also involves coordinating with vendors by issuing purchase orders and supporting the sourcing of hard goods used in product development, helping to keep projects on track from concept to execution.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring 3–5 years of experience in marketing and graphic design, with a strong understanding of branding, layout, typography, and visual storytelling. You’re a unique blend of creativity and organization — someone who can develop engaging campaigns while also keeping track of the details that keep everything running smoothly. You’re comfortable managing inventory, coordinating purchase orders, and supporting vendor communications, all while juggling multiple creative projects in a fast-paced environment. You have a solid grasp of design tools and digital marketing trends, and you thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Job Functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and design marketing materials including flyers, social media graphics, email campaigns, product catalogs, and signage.
  • Capture, edit and manage photo assets for use across print and digital media.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to support marketing strategies and create promotional materials aligned with business goals.
  • Maintain consistent brand identity across all platforms, ensuring a professional and cohesive look.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of product development.
  • Stay current with design and marketing trends, tools, and best practices to ensure innovation and relevance.
  • Issue POs, track deliveries, and manage relationships with vendors supplying product components and marketing materials.
  • Keep marketing files, calendars, and hard goods inventory organized to support smooth execution of projects.

Core Competencies

  • Strong eye for design, layout, and detail, with excellent visual storytelling skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate ideas into visual content.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to take direction and incorporate feedback.
  • Accuracy in design, copy, inventory tracking, and administrative tasks like purchase orders and vendor coordination.
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities, timelines, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Open to innovation and continuous improvement, with a solutions-focused attitude.
  • Understanding of print production and digital marketing platforms.

Experience / Education

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in graphic design and marketing roles.
  • Post-secondary education in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience designing across various media types: print, digital, and social.
  • Experience in product-based or B2B industries is an asset.

Mental / Physical Requirements

  • Ability to focus on design and marketing tasks for extended periods.
  • Capacity to manage multiple deadlines and switch between tasks efficiently.
  • Cognitive abilities to solve problems creatively and work under pressure.

Required Work Schedule

This is a full-time, in-office position. Regular working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility may be required during peak seasons or special projects to support business needs, which may include extended hours on occasion.
