About the opportunity :

Sportball, North America’s leading franchisor of youth organized multi-sport programs, is seeking an emerging marketing professional to join us. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will support the Head of Marketing in executing the brand vision and go-to-market strategy, collaborating closely with leadership and franchisees to bring ideas to life. This role offers a blend of strategy, execution, and creativity within a small, entrepreneurial team, shaping the future of a mission-driven, international brand with a vibrant community culture.

Position requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years' experience in marketing/brand management or agency work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French is an asset

Responsibilities :

  • Act as a steward of Sportball’s brand, ensuring consistency across all markets.
  • Assist the Head of Marketing with planning and executing brand initiatives, including campaign development, marketing calendar management, content creation (email, social media, blogs, website), managing freelance partners, website updates, coordinating brand collaborations, managing marketing assets, measuring campaign performance, and budget oversight.
  • Provide franchisees with access to marketing resources, tools, and guidance to support their local growth.
  • Support marketing efforts for Sportball’s corporate locations (GTA & Calgary), including planning, executing, and measuring campaigns to meet growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with the franchisor marketing team to share assets, strategies, and insights to strengthen overall marketing efforts.
