Location: 23 Lesmill Rd suite 212, North York, Ontario M3B 3P6
Salary: $33.00 hourly / 35 to 40 hours per Week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment / Full time
Start date: As soon as possible
Vacancies: 1 vacancy

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop all kinds of events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes
  2. Prepare bibliographies, indexes, reading lists, guides and other finding aids
  3. Prepare written material such as reports, briefs, website content
  4. Publicize activities, workshops, meetings and other events for fundraising or information purposes
  5. Write speeches, presentations and press releases
  6. Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities
  7. Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers
  8. Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts or articles
  9. Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies
  10. Answer written and oral inquiries
  11. Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material
  12. Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions
  13. Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys
  14. Initiate and maintain contact with the media
  15. Prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity and information programs, materials and sessions
  16. Prepare sports, literary, performance or other contracts
  17. Conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional, or international areas to assess development of potential and future trends
  18. Maintain and manage digital database
