About Hungry Canadian

Hungry Canadian is a hyperlocal food delivery platform built right here in Airdrie, Alberta. We’re creating a real alternative to the major food apps, something designed for Canadian restaurants and customers first, not shareholders.

We’ve already launched, onboarded restaurants, and gained community traction. Now we’re looking for a Marketing & Content Coordinator to help shape our brand voice, grow our presence, and turn heads in Airdrie and Calgary.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow with a real business, put their stamp on a live brand, and build something meaningful, without waiting for permission.

Role Overview

As our Marketing & Content Coordinator, you’ll lead the charge on content creation, social media engagement, brand voice development, and campaign execution. This is a flexible, part-time role built for someone who can think creatively and execute quickly, with a startup mentality and a community-first heart.

Responsibilities
  • Create compelling, on-brand content for social media, email, flyers, and web
  • Help develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity
  • Use tools like Canva, CapCut, ChatGPT, and Meta Business Suite to design and manage content
  • Contribute to marketing strategies and brainstorm local growth campaigns
  • Engage with our local audience (Airdrie/Calgary) through community groups and digital channels
  • Support the creation of our brand voice guide and content playbook for future team members
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and writing skills with a local-first, human tone
  • Comfortable using Canva, CapCut, and social scheduling tools (we’ll train you if needed)
  • Ability to create simple but eye-catching visual content
  • Proactive mindset—you can work independently and manage your own time
  • Basic understanding of marketing, storytelling, and grassroots brand growth
  • Bonus if you’ve worked in food, hospitality, or startup environments
  • Education is optional—your portfolio, energy, and creativity matter most
