Job summary

Intact seeks a Communications and Marketing Advisor I to join our team for a 12-month contract. You will develop marketing and communication plans, create tools and targeted campaigns, and design broker incentive programs to support business growth across Canada.

You will collaborate with brokers and partners, respond to internal requests, and help manage events and CSR initiatives while leveraging strong MS Office and collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• College degree in communications, marketing, public relations, business administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of experience leading or participating in communications, marketing, projects, or events.
• Experience writing, editing, and adapting content for different audiences and channels.
• Experience creating communication tools, presentations, and basic visual content.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Familiar with digital/collaborative tools like Asana or SharePoint.
• Team player in a collaborative environment; proactive and organized.

Responsibilities

• Support internal and external communications projects.
• Respond to communications requests from internal departments.
• Develop internal communications strategies and initiatives.
• Draft, edit, and distribute internal content (memos, intranet, newsletters).
• Contribute to design and production of communication tools including multimedia materials.
• Create presentations, conduct surveys, and prepare reports.
• Plan and organize events.
• Assist in CSR initiative implementation.
