Marketing Communications Coordinator—Job Overview :

  • Full-time, six-month contract (with opportunity for extension)
  • Paid position : $22 / hour
  • Fully remote with monthly onsite team events

What You’ll Be Doing :

Event & Campaign Coordination

  • Support logistics for events, trade shows, press tours, and PR campaigns
  • Research relevant speaking and partnership opportunities for clients
  • PR & Thought Leadership Strategy

  • Research and identify key opportunities for award submissions, speaking engagements, and media outreach for our database.
  • Maintain and update email lists for internal and external communications
  • Assist in crafting and submitting speaking applications for clients
  • Help track press coverage and compile media reports
  • Social Media & Content

  • Assist in drafting engaging captions and crafting social media posts for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter (X).
  • Watch and listen to client interviews to pull strong soundbites for social media
  • Assist in brainstorming and creating content strategies
  • Organization & Research

  • Maintain and organize digital files and large volumes of information
  • Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, media opportunities, and influencer partnerships
  • Stay on top of current trends in media, business, and entertainment to help shape our marketing and PR strategies
  • What We’re Looking For :

    Qualifications & Experience

  • A diploma and / or degree in communications, marketing, journalism, business, or a related field is an asset (perfect opportunity for a recent graduate!)
  • Experience in a PR, marketing, or event-related role is a bonus, but not required
