At Pier 4, our portfolio of multi-family real estate assets is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our team in our Cambridge office. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Marketing Managers in our Toronto corporate marketing team to ensure brand compliance and consistency. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing and maintaining the Pier 4 Residential website, Rent SINC, Rental.ca, and RENTCafe, which is part of the Yardi Marketing Suite, including websites, social media, event management, email & SMS communications, online leasing, and resident portal.
- Collaborating with the Corporate Marketing team, Leasing Specialists, and Asset Management for website updates and SEO.
- Ensuring all property information is accurate and current across platforms.
- Uploading and editing content such as property descriptions, amenities, photos, and slideshows.
- Testing and implementing new features like interactive site maps and ILS syndication.
- Creating and designing flyers, signage, and resident communications following brand guidelines.
- Executing content strategies, managing social media (including Instagram), and creating engaging visuals and captions.
- Compiling key data for CMS file management and data capture.
- Using Canva to create and update marketing collateral.
- Monitoring resident satisfaction surveys and generating reports.
- Participating in rental association events and promotions.
- Supporting property administration tasks as needed.
- Identifying opportunities to leverage technology for operational efficiencies.
- Assisting in creating ad creatives aligned with campaign goals and brand standards.
- Having a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for property visits and photos.
Education, Qualifications, and Experience
- University degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience in real estate marketing.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong project and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, YouTube, and social media trends.
- Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress.
- Experience with Adobe InDesign and the Adobe Suite.
- Digital marketing experience is an asset.
